Hi,
I have a net5501 -60 Soekris router which I need to configure.
I am using the m0n0wall software for configuring the same.
I have followed steps given in monowall startup guide and installed the OS on the 2 GB Sandisk CF card.
The router boots up and I can see the prompt for its confuguration.
However when the null modem is connected between the LAN port on the router and the laptop port,
the link is not getting detected.
This has blocked accessing the router default ip 192.168.1.1 for further configuration.
The NIC card on my laptop is one of the following I am not sure which one.
Intel (r) PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection or Broadcom NetXtreme 57xx Gigabit controller
Please help how to resolve this problem of able to make the link up and configure the Soekris router using the m0nowall.
